Ingredients:
Buttermilk (tastes good if its little sour) - 4 cups
Garlic - 2 pods
Green chillies - 2
Red chilly - 1
Curry leaves - 1 sprig
Ajwain seeds (vaamu) - 2 tsp
Methi seeds - 2 tsp
Mustard seeds - 2tsp
Zeera - 1 tsp
Turmeric - 1 tsp
Salt
Oil - 1 tbsp
Method:
- Grind Garlic, green chillies, some zeera and salt.
- Mix this paste in the buttermilk.
- Heat oil in a pan and do the seasoning with ajwain, methi, mustard, zeera, red chilly and curry leaves.
- When they start spluttering, immediately transfer this into buttermilk and immediately (when the oil in it is still hot) put the turmeric and cover for 5 min.
