Ingredients
- 1 cup long grain rice
- 2 onions cut into rings
- 3 cup rice
- 2 tsp shajira
- 4 cup ghee
- 2 tsp cashews
- 4 whole pepper corns
- 1 bay leaf
- 1 tsp. sugar
- 1/2 tsp cloves
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- salt to taste
Procedure
- Wash rice thoroughly and soak in salt water for 30 minutes.
- Heat ghee in a heavy bottom pan Put
- jeera,bayleaf,pepper corns, cloves, cashews and cinnamon in ghee fry them for few mins.
- Add onions and fry until trnsperant.
- Add rice.fry them gently till light brown.
- Add water and put salt and stirwell, bring to boil.
- Cover it cook it on a low flame.Till rice is done.
- Remove from the pan and garnish with coriander leaves.
- Serve hot Raitha.
