Cheddar Cheese Omlete



Ingredients:
Eggs - 4 large (at room temp)
Onion - 1/2 chopped
Green chillies - 2, thinly chopped
Butter stick
Water or milk - 3 tbsp
Salt and pepper
Cheddar cheese - grated
Green onion and cilanthro (chopped) - for garnishing

Method:

  1. First, bring eggs to room temperature by keeping them in warm water for a while. This is the first secret of good omelet!
  2. Beat eggs (I use 4 whites and 2 yolks), water (mixing water or milk is the second secret! - It gives scope for steam which is used to fluf the omelet) and salt in a bowl until blended.
  3. Then Pour half of it on a hot buttered pan.
  4. Sprinkle some onions, green chillies, pepper.
  5. When the eggs are done, sprinkle some cheddar cheese and let it melt (for about 1-2 mins).
  6. Garnish with Cilanthro and green onions.
Enjoy as your breakfast or as a snack or as a side dish for lunch with rice and ghee.

P.S : If you want omelet to be thick, after 4th step cover it and then follow the other steps .
